SCHOLARSHIP

EARTH University is honored to partner with The Mastercard Foundation to provide scholarships to young leaders from disadvantaged communities around the globe. Through the partnership, which forms part of The MasterCard Foundation Scholars Program, The Foundation will provide 120 scholarships to EARTH students. Approximately one-third of the scholars will come from Sub-Saharan Africa (including Eswatini) and the rest from Latin America and the Caribbean.

Seventy-five percent of those scholarships will support African students and 75% will support women. However, please note that thanks to the support of many foundations, governments, private companies, and individuals around the globe, EARTH is able to provide financial aid to all of its students, with approximately 60 percent of students receiving full scholarships.

FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM

Earth University has announced a new Fellowship Program for African students as part of the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, developed to enhance and facilitate the transition of African students back to their home countries and communities following graduation. The fellowship will provide graduates a living stipend, mentoring, and other support for the first year following graduation from EARTH University, or in some cases, to recent graduates already living back in their home countries. Through the ongoing development of network of African partners, Earth will offer our graduates some very attractive opportunities in one of four possible tracks:

  1. Agricultural employment

  2. Agricultural education

  3. Science and research

  4. Entrepreneurship
