The Institute for Peace and Security Studies (IPSS), is pleased to announce the call for application for the Executive Master's in Managing Peace and Security in Africa (MPSA). The application deadline is 26 June 2020 and the Programme will commence on 4 October 2020. Established in 2010 as an extra-occupational Master's programme, it was developed in partnership with the AU Commission’s Peace and Security Department (AUC PSD), Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) and IPSS as part of a broader institutional partnership. The MPSA Programme aims to fill the niche for seasoned, well-trained professionals involved in peace and security issues that are capable of making informed, timely and critical decisions. The aim of MPSA is to groom and enhance the capacities of leaders to understand and commit to addressing evolving challenges of governance in the areas of peace and security. The MPSA programme is, therefore, synonymous with Enhancing capacities, Enriching lives.
