African Leadership University in Rwanda currently offers the following degree programmes, accredited by the Higher Education Council of Rwanda and awarded by ALU.
ALU has a massive scholarship program currently ongoing until 20 April 2020, supported by the MasterCard Foundation. Students are highly encouraged to apply, especially female students. These are full scholarships that cover the following:
100% Tuition Fee Waiver which covers the cost of tuition fees, accommodation and other study-related costs for the duration of the undergraduate programme at the Rwanda and Mauritius campuses of the African Leadership University
Annual living allowance for the duration of the undergraduate programme
Relocation allowance to cover incoming travel and removal expenses for one way travel (for applicants living outside Rwanda and Mauritius)

The Mandela Rhodes Scholarships Programme is a combination of financial support for postgraduate studies and a high quality leadership development programme, with the intention to build exceptional leadership capacity in Africa. The Scholarship covers the cost of a Scholar as follows:
Tuition and registration fees as set by the institution;
A study materials allowance as set by the MRF;
Accommodation and meal allowances as set by the MRF;
A medical aid allowance as set by the MRF;
Economy-class travel allowance for international Scholars only from the Scholar’s home to their institution at the beginning and back home at the end of their degree programme;
Personal allowance.

AIMS MACHINE LEARNING EXPERT PROGRAM

Facebook and Google have partnered with the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) to provide the African Masters in Machine Intelligence (AMMI) program. AMMI is a novel fully funded one-year intensive graduate program that provides brilliant young Africans with state-of-the-art training in machine learning and its applications.
The application is free and online. All students admitted for the AMMI program are automatically granted a full scholarship. All decisions will be sent by the end of the month of July 2019. JAPAN WORLD BANK GRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

The Joint Japan/World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJ/WBGSP) offers scholarships for 30 Preferred Programs spanning a wide array of development topics and for 10 Partner Programs at universities in U.S., Europe and Japan in key areas of development, including economic policy management, tax policy, and infrastructure management. A JJ/WBGSP scholarship provides tuition, a monthly living stipend, round-trip airfare, health insurance, and travel allowance of $500.
COMMONWEALTH DISTANCE LEARNING SCHOLARSHIP

Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID) is intended for high-quality postgraduate students who wish to access training not available in their home countries, who wish or need to remain in their home country while they study, and who have the potential to enhance the development of their home countries with the knowledge and leadership skills they acquire.
You must make your application using the CSC’s online application system which you can find via CSC website. You must also secure admission to an eligible Master’s course at a UK university that is participating in the Distance Learning scheme. There are 64 programs which are eligible in this scholarship. You can apply for more than one course and/or to more than one university, but you may only accept one offer of a Distance Learning Scholarship. All applications must be submitted by the first deadline of midday 16.00 (GMT) on 13 April 2020.
